Raspberry Pi (Any model) I'm using the Pi 4
SD Card (With at least 8gb of storage)
A computer with internet access
SD Card Reader
Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse
Download Raspberry Pi Imager
Download and install the Raspberry Pi Imager for your computer (Windows, macOS, or Linux)
Insert the microSD Card
Plug your microSD card into your computer using a card reader
Open Raspberry Pi Imager software
Click “Choose Device”
Pick the Raspberry Pi model you’re using
For example: if you have a Raspberry Pi 4, select “Raspberry Pi 4” from the list.
Choose Storage
Click “Choose Storage”
Pick your microSD card from the list
Click "Edit Settings" here you can adjust the following settings below if required to
Wi-Fi name and password (This one is useful as it'll connect your PI straight to your internet on boot.)
Username and password (Pre account setup recommended.)
Enable SSH (for remote access)
Click “Next"
Then select Yes and wait for the installation to complete.
Once installation is complete, remove the card from your computer
Insert it into your Raspberry Pi
Power On
Plug in your Raspberry Pi
It will boot up and guide you through setup
